The Ada East District is situated in the eastern part of the Greater Accra Region, covering about 289.78 sq. km. It shares boundaries with the Central Tongu, South Tongu and Ada West districts and is bounded to the south by the Gulf of Guinea. Its capital is Ada-Foah.

Mission
The Ada East District Assembly exists to improve the livelihood of people within its jurisdiction through the equitable provision of services for the total development of the district within the context of good governance.
